Phillip Cascone

Aerospace Engineer

Phillip is a degree qualified engineer graduating from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (Honours). After his undergraduate program and prior to joining MEMKO, he was a PhD student at RMIT conducting research into high strength, lightweight alloys specialising in 6000 series aluminium. Phillip has a strong interest in the aerospace industry and 3D design and is keen to see how newer, more sophisticated software impacts the industry. He has previously worked on projects at MEMKO including generation of 3D data for the redevelopment of Wynyard Train Station. He also has experience in aviation technical records.

  • Materials research and modelling, completing his undergraduate capstone project on natural and synthetic composite materials
  • Manufacturing support, problem identification and quality assurance
