Angus De Wit

Naval Architect

Angus is a Naval Architect with a Dual Master’s of Marine Engineering & Science (MMEng/MSc) from the University of Adelaide and French Engineering College, ENSTA Bretagne. Before joining memko, Angus worked as a Naval Architect at French Consulting Firm, PRINCIPIA, a company involved in the upcoming SEA1000 program.

During his time in France, Angus worked on several ship studies, including the global strength analysis of a 300m long LPG carrier. Angus’ focus has been on the FE modelling and analysis of ships and structures in general due to his previous work as a Structural Engineer (BSEng).

Through several years of 3D modelling experience across various disciplines and applications, Angus has gained a strong passion for 3D design. Angus looks forward to seeing the role of integrated design (and technologies like it) in upcoming large-scale projects across Australia.
