Ian has a career spanning 40 years having worked in the defence quality assurance, civil aviation regulation and the civil aircraft engineering sectors.

With a solid background of 30 years working with CASA in the airworthiness engineering branch, Ian is well versed in all areas of airworthiness control and the associated regulatory provisions and processes, occupying the position of Manager Engineering Support Branch.

More recently Ian has worked in the engineering and design industry for Aeronautical Engineers Australia, and Memko Pty Ltd providing advice on compliance and certification issues, production, internal auditing and presentation of training on Civil Design Airworthiness Approval Regulations and Processes.
