Bringing World-Class Aviation Safety Training to Canberra

Following the success of our recent aviation safety training programs in Melbourne, MEMKO is pleased to announce that we will be delivering the Aviation Safety Investigation Course in Canberra on 29 September 2025.

This marks another milestone in our partnership with Cranfield University’s Safety and Accident Investigation Centre, bringing world-class aviation safety education to professionals across the Asia-Pacific region.

In April 2025, MEMKO hosted two internationally recognised courses in Melbourne:

Aviation Safety Investigation Course (5 days)
Delivered at the National Transport Research Organisation, this course provided participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in conducting safety investigations, including a simulated serious incident scenario.

Hazard and Evidence Awareness for Air Accident Responders Course (2 days)
Held at Essendon Fields Airport, this course focused on site safety and evidence preservation for first responders and aviation personnel, using a real aircraft in a simulated crash scenario.
Paul Fox, Regional Manager (Asia Pacific) for Cranfield’s Safety and Accident Investigation Centre, played a key role in establishing the partnership and tailoring the course rollout to regional needs.
Having access to Cranfield’s nearly 50 years of experience in aircraft accident investigation here in Australia will make a huge difference to the region’s civil and defence safety capabilities,” said Paul.
