MEMKO is appointed by the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority under CASR Subpart 21M to certify and approve the design, modifications and repairs to fixed and rotary wing aircraft

Directorate of Initial Airworthiness (DIA) Tasks

Virtual or Remote Learning

MEMKO provided professional training and education services to the Directorate of Initial Airworthiness (DIA) within the Defence Aviation and Safety Authority (DASA). DASA is the training authority for all phases of sponsored training and required MEMKO to assist with aligning training to the Defence Training Model (DTM) and transitioning Face to Face packages into online blended learning solutions. Deliverables included: 

  • Developing Learning & Development (L&D) courseware and supporting documentation for adaption to online Defence training and education solutions. 
  • Providing advice and development of Learning Management Packages (LMPs) in-line with requirements of DASA internal training instructions (based broadly on Defence L & D policy and the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL).  
  • Designing and developing multiple online courses through the creation of story boards, video vignettes and assessment instruments for multiple courses to integrate into the Australian Defence Force’s online Learning Management System – Australian Defence Education and Learning Environment (ADELE). 

Courses designed, developed and integrated in ADELE include:
