Pieter’s background and career in Aerospace and Defence Systems research and product development spans almost 30 years. In 2003 he was awarded a Boeing Associate Technical Fellowship in recognition of his abilities and leadership in the field of aircraft mechanical systems, structural testing and UAV programs.
Pieter is a degree qualified engineer with experience as a Lead engineer and Design Authority for a number of novel and high performance UAV and defence systems and has led complex aircraft integration and test programs on both civil and military platforms for Australian and overseas customers. He also has significant experience in the post-design lifecycle support and management of aircraft systems.
