This course establishes a foundational understanding of MBSE using the SysMLv2 language to define the structure, behaviour, requirements and analysis of a system. It introduces participants to modern model‑based methods and the CATIA Magic toolset through guided, hands‑on exercises that build practical modelling capability within a digital engineering environment. This course is intended for engineers and technical professionals with general systems or engineering experience.
This course provides a fundamental understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) by using the Systems Modelling Language V2 (SysML) to define a system’s structure and behaviour in accordance with its specified requirements and constraints. Students will also learn how to use the CATIA Magic toolset as a cornerstone to an organisation’s Digital Engineering solution.
Duration: 4 Contact Days
Study Mode: In-Person
Suitable for: Principal Engineers, System Engineers, System Architects, Specialist Engineers

The MBSE Fundamentals SysMLv2 micro-credential is designed to give you a holistic understanding of MBSE and understand its applications to manage design complexity, compliance and risk management for a system of interest.
Within this micro-credential, you will:
