On Friday 5th May, MEMKO, Deakin University and Dassault Systèmes, proudly presented the 2023 Advanced Manufacturing Showcase, following last year’s success in Waurn Ponds Estate, Geelong. The showcase welcomed over 200 industry players, manufacturers, experts and engineers visiting and exhibiting their manufacturing solutions.
The purpose of the event was to promote the future capabilities in advanced manufacturing and to showcase successful product commercialisation, research and development initiatives. The key theme was the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies in advanced manufacturing innovations, along with the roadmap and pathway to sustainability in Australia. This was delivered through the presentations of 17 notable industry speakers from various organisations.
The event featured disruptive manufacturing displays and industry solutions from over 20 different companies such as Bosch, DOBOT Systems, Guarda Systems and Colbotic Automation. As a result, the event created a huge networking opportunity for the manufacturing community.
At the event, Ravi Jain, General Manager at MEMKO, and Sameer Deshpande, Manager of Deakin University’s ManuFutures Programs & Services, spoke on the development of Advanced manufacturing ecosystem and the future of work within Industry 4.0 in Victoria.
