Harnish Patel is a PLM Solutions Engineer and full-stack software developer who brings a practical, user-focused approach to solving complex engineering challenges. At MEMKO, he works with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, developing EKL scripts and software solutions that connect engineering data with the people and processes that rely on it. His work focuses on automating repetitive tasks, protecting critical information and making engineering workflows more efficient and dependable.
Before joining MEMKO, Harnish completed a Software Engineering Internship at Boeing Aerostructures Australia, where he developed a machine-learning object-detection application to enterprise engineering standards. He also integrated a computer-vision model with an internal inferencing platform, gaining valuable experience delivering software within a regulated aerospace environment.
Harnish previously worked as a Specialist Technician at Cranbourne West Secondary College, supporting the technology needs of its staff and students. In addition to managing user access, resolving technical issues and maintaining IT assets throughout their lifecycle, he developed guides and system integrations that reduced repetitive manual work. This experience established the lifecycle thinking and automation mindset that he now applies to PLM.
His technical capabilities include 3DEXPERIENCE, DELMIA and EKL, supported by programming experience across Python, JavaScript and Swift. Harnish also has experience developing web applications and automation solutions using technologies including Next.js, FastAPI, SwiftUI, Firebase, Docker and Git.
Harnish holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing and a Bachelor of Information Technology in Software Development from Monash University. This multidisciplinary background enables him to consider both how a solution should be built and how it will be used. His approach is grounded in testing ideas on real platforms, safeguarding essential data and integrations, and using automation to remove unnecessary manual effort.
